I've spent most of my working life around people and community, first running my own gym here in Brisbane, and later as Head of Content at an Australian tech company, a role that took me across Australia and over to the US. No. Briefd connects brands and creators and makes collaborations safe and simple, but applying doesn't guarantee you'll be selected, and posting a brief doesn't guarantee applicants.
Some briefs are paid, where you receive a budget for the content. Others are product-only, where you receive a product or service in exchange rather than money. Each brief shows which it is.
It comes down to the usage agreement you and the brand agree to for each collaboration, so it can be different every time. Briefd never owns your content, unless that's specifically agreed in a collaboration with Briefd and set out in the usage terms.
