briefd. (“Briefd”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Briefd mobile application and website at briefdapp.com.au (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you use our Service.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account we collect your email address, mobile number (if provided), and password. For creators we also collect your name, city, state, profile photo, creator type, content niches, social media handles, intro reel, portfolio content and rate. For brands we collect your business name, website, contact name, social media handle, logo and about section.
We store intro reels, portfolio videos, profile photos and brand logos you upload to the Service. This content is stored securely using Supabase cloud storage.
We store briefs created by brands including campaign details, budget, timeline and location preferences. We store the status of creator applications and approvals.
We store messages sent between brands and creators through the in-app messaging system.
We may collect information about how you use the Service including screens visited, features used and time spent in the app.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate and maintain the Service
- Match creators with relevant brand briefs
- Enable communication between brands and creators
- Process creator verification applications
- Send notifications about brief activity, approvals and messages
- Improve and develop new features
- Ensure the security and integrity of the Service
3. How We Share Your Information
Creator profiles (name, city, state, creator type, niches, platforms, rate) are visible to brands using the Service. Brand profiles (business name, about, industries) are visible to creators using the Service.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with advertisers.
We use the following third party services:
- Supabase — database and file storage (supabase.com)
- Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com) — coming soon
- Expo — app distribution (expo.dev)
- Apple — app distribution via the App Store
4. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the app (Settings → Delete account) — this permanently removes your profile, content, messages and other account data immediately and cannot be undone. 5. Security
We take the security of your data seriously. Your data is stored using Supabase which provides encryption at rest and in transit. We use secure HTTPS connections for all data transmission.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Export your personal information

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
